ABDABAG is subsidiary of Abda Cargo Services LLC of Dubai, UAE. ABDABAG Worldwide Baggage Delivery concept was developed in Kuala Lumpur in 1999 by Abda Aviation for giving an affordable option to airline passengers instead of expensive choice of airline excess baggage rates to move bags from one airport to the other airport.
With continued improvement in quality and level of service, the demand from the travelling public justified establishing airport counters at Kuala Lumpur International Airport (KLIA) and Penang International Airport. Abda Aviation is airline GSA Company representing over 30 international airlines in Malaysia and Southeast Asia.
The entire excess baggage and worldwide delivery program based in Malaysia is fully endorsed by Airline Operators Committee (AOC) of KLIA, Malaysian Airport Authority, Tourism Malaysia, Kuala Lumpur Travel & Tourism Association, Malaysian Hotel Association and approved by Royal Customs of Malaysia.
With greater acceptance from travellers and improvement in additional features and quality of service, door to door and airport/ city center to door service on a worldwide basis was introduced. Abda, on a phased development, is gradually expanding airport counters to other parts of Southeast Asia and Middle-East.
Abdabag is affiliated with Abda Sdn. Bhd (Malaysia), a multinational company, established in 1989, with diversified interests in airline business representing over 30 international airlines. Abda has three main business areas:
1. Cargo General Sales Agency
As a General Sales Agent (GSA) agent, we handle the sales, marketing, booking and tracking of the airlines cargo business worldwide.
2. Cargo Management at KLIA Airport
The Abda’s total cargo management team manages and oversees the ground handling agents, the safety and security aspects of the aircraft, warehouse, and ramp operations and ensures optimum utilization of Aircraft cargo capacity.
